The Solute Water Filter EQ. Saeco Inttenza, Philips Saeco, Lavazza, Gaggia, Aequinox improves if relevant the water quality by lowering impurities in tap water such as chlorine, lead or copper, lime and other fragrances and flavors. This then ensures the preservation of the perfect coffee aroma and a good cup of coffee!
Although the Solute water filter EQ. Saeco Inttenza, Philips Saeco, Lavazza, Gaggia, Aequinox Reduces the lime in your device, there will always be limescale. After all, lime is needed to be able to make a good cup of coffee so don't think that with a water filter you will reduce the lime to 0. That is why we recommend descaling your coffee maker after approximately 350 to 400 settings.

Step 1: Remove the water reservoir, throw away the water present and check whether the reservoir is clean.
Step 2: Place the filter in the reservoir. Press to the end and make a slightly rotating movement (see image).
Step 3: Fill the water reservoir with fresh drinking water and place it back in the machine.
Step 4: Rinse the device. Throw this water away.
