The Solute Claris Blue water filter improves water quality, where relevant, by reducing impurities in tap water such as chlorine, lead or copper, limescale, and other odor and taste substances. This, in turn, ensures the preservation of the perfect coffee aroma and a good cup of coffee!
Although the Solute Claris Blue water filter reduces limescale in your appliance, limescale will always continue to form. After all, limescale is necessary to brew a good cup of coffee, so do not think that a water filter reduces limescale to zero. Therefore, we recommend descaling your coffee machine after approximately 350 to 400 brews.

Step 1: Remove the water reservoir from your coffee machine, pour out the water, and if necessary, clean the reservoir with hot water.
Step 2: Hold the water filter upside down in a bowl of water for about 60 seconds to vent it.
Step 3: Place the filter in the water tank and push the water filter into place with some pressure.
Step 4: Fill the water reservoir with tap water and place it back into your Jura coffee machine.
Step 5: Activate the water filter in your coffee machine if necessary, then dispense a few cups of hot water to rinse the filter.
