The Solute water filter eq. Saeco Intenza, Philips Saeco, Lavazza, Gaggia, Aequinox improves water quality, where relevant, by reducing impurities in tap water such as chlorine, lead or copper, limescale, and other odor and taste substances. This subsequently ensures the preservation of the perfect coffee aroma and a good cup of coffee!
Although the Solute water filter eq. Saeco Intenza, Philips Saeco, Lavazza, Gaggia, Aequinox reduces limescale in your appliance, limescale will always continue to form. After all, limescale is necessary to brew a good cup of coffee, so do not think that a water filter reduces limescale to zero. Therefore, we recommend descaling your coffee machine after approximately 350 to 400 cups.

Step 1: Remove the water reservoir, discard the water, and check if the reservoir is clean.
Step 2: Place the filter in the reservoir. Push it in all the way, making a slight twisting motion (see image).
Step 3: Fill the water reservoir with fresh drinking water and place it back in the machine.
Step 4: Rinse the device. Discard this water.
