Machine with descaling program
For descaling programs, always follow the manual provided by your coffee machine manufacturer.
For machines with a water reservoir of more than 1 liter, we recommend using 250 ml of descaler .
- Pour tap water into the water reservoir until the amount recommended by the manufacturer is reached.
- Pour 125 ml of descaler into the water reservoir.
- The program now starts automatically or can be started.
- Then collect the liquid in a sufficiently large glass cup.
- Caution: The liquid may be hot!
- Allow the used solution to cool down before rinsing it away.
- Rinse with plenty of water.
- Rinse the water reservoir with clean water.
- Next, flush the machine with 1 to 2 tank fillings of water.
- Tip: Wipe the coffee machine with a damp cloth after descaling to remove any splashes of descaler .
Machine without descaling program
- Pour 125 ml of descaler into the water reservoir.
- Fill the reservoir with the same amount of tap water (125 ml).
- Run this solution through the hot water outlet. (steam function off!)
- If the appliance does not have a hot water outlet, run the solution through the coffee outlet.
- Then collect the liquid in a sufficiently large glass cup.
- Caution: The liquid may be hot! Allow the used solution to cool down before rinsing it away.
- Rinse with plenty of water.
- Rinse the water reservoir with clean water.
- Next, flush the machine with 1 to 2 tank fillings of water.
- TipTip: Wipe the coffee machine with a damp cloth after descaling to remove any residue.
Now you can enjoy your perfect cup of coffee again.
Important notes
The descaler contains sulfamic acid and citric acid. Prevent acid-sensitive materials from coming into contact with the solution.
They may be damaged. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water.
