Step 1: Remove the water reservoir, discard the water, and check if the reservoir is clean.

Step 2: Place the filter in the reservoir. Push it in all the way, making a slight twisting motion (see image).

Step 3: Fill the water reservoir with fresh drinking water and place it back in the machine.

Step 4: Rinse the device. Discard this water.
